Metropolitan Engineers Co-Operative Society Ltd.

Our place is down in Ranjanpally, in the Nadia district. Being a co-operative society means we work a bit differently than those big city firms. We are just a group of engineers and folks who decided to pool our resources and skills together here. The area is quiet mostly, nothing like the rush of the bigger towns. We spend our time on various engineering jobs around the district. Some days we are out in the field looking at pipes or roads, and other days we are sitting in the office trying to figure out the budget for the next project. The fans are always humming in the background while we talk. It’s not always easy keeping everyone on the same page, but we’ve managed so far. People in Ranjanpally know where to find us if they need something sorted out. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, but usually, we head home when the sun starts to set. The tea shop nearby is where most of our unofficial meetings happen anyway. It feels good to be part of the local scene here in Nadia. We focus on getting the job done without making too much of a fuss about it every single day.
