We are set up at the Kuvempu Trust building on Kalidasa Road. This is over in the Jayalakshmipuram area of Mysore, which is a nice part of town to be in. The landmark most people use to find us is Chandrakala Hospital, since it’s right nearby. Our pincode is 570012 if you’re looking us up specifically. Vikasa Academy For Excellence isn't trying to be anything other than a solid place for learning. We have been using this space in the trust building for a while now. Kalidasa Road has plenty of trees and is usually a good place for a walk, though it can get a bit crowded with cars in the evenings. We like the location because it’s easy for people to describe to their friends—just say "near the hospital on Kalidasa Road" and they usually get it. The building itself is sturdy and has enough room for what we need to do. We don't go in for fancy decorations or big corporate offices. We just have our desks and our chairs and our books. It’s a local operation through and through. Being in Jayalakshmipuram means we are close to a lot of schools, which is handy for the students who come to see us. We’ve been here quite a bit and plan to stay for as long as we can. It’s just a simple, honest place where we try to help out with the academic side of things for the kids who live around here.
