We’ve been here at Ballal Circle for a good while now. It is easy to find us because we are right next to Hotel Mahesh Prasad, so if you get hungry after class, you just walk a few steps. The traffic around the circle gets pretty loud in the evenings, but inside the rooms, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper and someone explaining a math problem. We have basic wooden benches and some fans that hum constantly when it’s hot out. Mysore weather is usually okay, but the afternoons get stuffy. People come in and out all day, mostly students from the nearby areas who just want a quiet place to sit and learn something. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they are covered with charts and old schedules anyway. We don't have fancy sofas or anything. Just desks, chairs, and a whiteboard that sometimes doesn't wipe off perfectly. It’s a simple setup. Most of the time, we are busy organizing notebooks or talking to parents who drop by. It’s just how it is here. You’ll see the sign from the main road. Sometimes the smell of sambar from Mahesh Prasad drifts in, which makes everyone think about lunch. It’s just a normal place where work gets done. Nothing too special to look at, but we are here every day.
