We are based out of the Malleshan Gudda Estate in Hirebyle. It’s a quiet area near Mudigere, mostly surrounded by greenery and the usual estate life. Safewheels Tours & Travels handles a lot of local transport and trip planning for people coming through Chikmaglur. Being in a place like this, you get used to the winding roads and the way the weather changes fast. The office is really just a part of the daily routine here at Valerian Gonsalves' place. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who know these hills better than anyone. It’s not a fancy setup with glass windows and air conditioning. Instead, it’s more about knowing which road is blocked and how to get someone to the station on time. Most of our days are spent coordinating vehicles or helping folks figure out their routes through the coffee plantations. It gets busy during the holidays when everyone wants to see the scenery, but otherwise, it's just regular work. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and most locals know where to find us if they need a car or some help with travel plans. It’s a practical business. We deal with the logistics so people can actually get where they’re going without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet is slow because of the location, but we manage just fine. It's just us doing what needs doing to keep the cars moving and the guests happy enough to reach their destination.
