Running A Lab

Running A Lab is located at 13/1 on the 8th Main in Yadavgiri, Mysore. This part of Mysore is actually quite nice, with some older trees and a bit more breathing room than the city center. Our lab space is on the 8th Main, which is a road we’ve come to know very well. We spend our days inside, surrounded by equipment and containers. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a movie lab. It’s more practical, with stuff everywhere and notes taped to the walls. We do a lot of repetitive tasks, checking things and making sure the data is right. Some mornings are quiet when the sun is just coming up over Yadavgiri, and those are the best times to get the focus work done. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The address, 570 020, is just home for us during the work week. We don't have a big sign out front or anything fancy. People who need to find us usually know the way or just look for the number 13/1. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. It’s just a normal job. We wear our lab coats, drink our tea, and try to stay organized even when things get busy. It’s a steady rhythm of work in a steady neighborhood. We keep our heads down and just do the tests. It’s quiet and we like it that way.
