Silver Ferns Hotel

We have the Silver Ferns Hotel out here in Fatehpur Ariyan, near Bassi Pathna in Fatehgarh Sahib. It’s a quiet spot in Punjab. We’ve been around for a bit, just keeping things running for people who need a place to stay while passing through or visiting family. The hotel sits right in the village area. It’s not fancy or anything, but we keep the rooms clean and the fans working. Most folks come by because they have work in Fatehgarh Sahib or they’re just traveling. We try to keep it simple. If you need water or a extra towel, you just ask. My cousin helps out with the check-ins most days. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the tractors go by during harvest time. It's just a regular local place. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just some chairs and a desk where we keep the register book. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they see the sign from the main road. We’re easy to find if you know where the post office is in Bassi Pathna. We make sure the gates are locked at night so everyone feels okay. There isn't much noise around here once the sun goes down, which is nice if you're tired from a long drive. We just do our job and hope people have a decent night's sleep before they head back out on the road again. It's nothing special, just a place to rest.
