Our site is located at 43, Huyilalu Village, near the Yelwala Post on the Hunsur Bypass Road. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s a good spot for what we do. You can see the trucks coming from a long way off on the bypass. The air out here feels a bit different than the city, maybe a little more open, though the dust from the road keeps things interesting. We spend most of our time coordinating deliveries and making sure the yard stays organized. It’s a lot of back and forth, checking schedules and talking to drivers who are usually in a hurry to get to their next stop. The office is just a small room with some old chairs and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We’ve been at this location for a while, and we’ve seen the bypass get busier every year. Sometimes we have to stay late when a shipment is delayed, sitting around with a cup of tea until the headlights finally show up at the gate. It’s a practical kind of job. We don’t use a lot of big words or have fancy meetings. We just get the work done as it comes. It can be tiring, but it’s honest work and we’ve got a good rhythm going with the local guys who work here. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the pile. It keeps us out of trouble I guess.
