Our site is at 43/5 in Village- Sqylalu, which is right near the Acharya Vidya School. Being out in the village area is a bit different from being in the middle of a city. It’s a lot quieter, except for when we have the equipment running. Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd. has a big presence here, but we still feel like part of the local landscape because we've been around for so long. You can see the school from our gates, and we always have to be careful when the kids are heading home in the afternoon. The roads around here can be a bit bumpy and dusty, especially in the dry season, but that is just life in Sqylalu. We spend most of our time out in the yard or near the silos. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the production process. We don't have much of a front office to speak of; most of the real work happens outside in the sun. We know a lot of the local folks who live nearby, and sometimes they stop by just to say hello or ask about work. It isn't a high-tech environment with lots of screens and gadgets. Instead, it’s about physical work and making sure everything is handled correctly. We keep things simple and try to be good neighbors while we go about our daily business here in the village.
