Sahana Convent

Sahana Convent is right on Hebal Main Road. If you know the Metagalli area, you have probably passed us. We are in Hebbal, Mysore. It gets quite noisy with all the trucks and cars going by, but we have gotten used to it over the years. The school is a simple place. We don't have huge fancy gates or anything like that. Just a building where we teach the local kids. Every morning is a bit of a rush with parents dropping their children off on their way to work. We have a few classrooms that are always full of noise and energy. Sometimes the chalk dust gets everywhere and the playground isn't as green as we might like, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We have been here for a while and most people in the neighborhood know who we are. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy decorations. Most of our effort goes into just making sure the daily lessons are done. It is a modest setup, really. We have a small staff and we all know each other well. When the bell rings at the end of the day, things get very loud for about twenty minutes and then it finally gets quiet again. We like being part of this community in Mysore. It feels right to be teaching here on this road. We just keep things moving one day at a time without much fuss.
