Gimds Pu And Degree College

Our college is situated over in the Hootagalli Industrial Area, specifically at No.Ca/40. Being in an industrial part of Mysore, the surroundings are a bit different than the main city center. It’s a bit more practical and functional around here. We offer both PU and degree courses, so we have a mix of younger students and those getting closer to finishing their education. The building is a simple structure that fits right in with the neighborhood. Inside, you’ll find the lecture halls and a few labs where the practical work happens. We get a lot of students who commute from different parts of Mysore every morning. The atmosphere is generally quiet during class hours, but the canteen area gets pretty lively during the afternoon break. We don't have any fancy landscaping, just the necessary space for the students to move around. The staff handles everything from admissions to managing the daily timetable. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve been doing it for some time now. Mysore is a nice place to be, and Hootagalli has its own pace. We follow the university cycles and try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. It’s just a place for learning and getting a degree so people can move on to their careers. The classrooms are basic but they have what is needed. We focus on getting through the syllabus every semester.
