Pragathi Vidyakendra

Pragathi Vidyakendra is found in the 2nd Stage of Bogadi, Mysore, right on the 2nd Cross. This is a fairly quiet part of the city, which makes it a good spot for a school. The building is not very tall, just a couple of levels with some classrooms tucked away. We have been operating in the 570026 area for a good amount of time now. The setup is quite basic. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep the registers and files. The classrooms have simple desks and a lot of charts on the walls that the teachers have made themselves. It’s not a polished, corporate environment. You’ll see some scuff marks on the floors and the furniture is a bit mismatched in some rooms. We don’t use a lot of marketing talk to get people to come here. Mostly, it’s just parents from the neighborhood who stop by because they live nearby. We follow a standard routine every day. The kids arrive, we do the morning prayers, and then it’s into the classrooms for lessons. During the break, the sound of children playing fills the whole street. We don’t have any fancy facilities, just the essentials like a small library and some basic sports equipment. It’s an honest, local school that focuses on the everyday reality of teaching and learning. We just keep things moving along as best as we can.
