Kama Denu Convent is situated at No. 85/3 in Bairaveshwaranagar, which is part of the Metagalli area in Mysore. We’re right near the Hebbal School, so there are always lots of students moving around this part of the city. Our building is a simple structure, but it serves our purpose well enough. We’ve been operating here for years, helping the local kids with their primary education. It’s a neighborhood where people know each other, so the school feels like a natural extension of the community. We have a small group of teachers who work hard to keep the kids focused on their lessons. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather is nice and the children would rather be outside playing. We have a small yard where they can spend their free time, and it gets quite noisy during the lunch hour. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and blackboards that have seen a lot of use. We don't go in for anything too fancy because we want to keep the fees manageable for the families living around Metagalli. Parents often stop by to chat about how their children are getting on, and we try to be as honest as possible with them. It’s a humble place, just a regular school trying to do a good job for the kids in this corner of Mysore. We're happy to be part of the local landscape and see the kids every morning.
