Indian Railway

This is our Indian Railway office located on Ram Raji Road. We are specifically in the Maripur area of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. If you live around here, you know the 842001 pin code well. It’s a busy part of town. The office is usually humming with the sound of people talking about train schedules or track maintenance. It’s a big system, the railway, but this is just one small part of it where we handle the day-to-day stuff. There are old wooden desks and stacks of registers that have been here for years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking charts. It’s not the most modern place in the world, but it gets the job done. We deal with all sorts of things related to the trains. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when there are delays or big crowds at the station nearby. We just try to keep a cool head and help where we can. There’s a tea stall just outside where we all go for breaks. It’s nice to get a bit of fresh air before heading back into the stacks of files. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a government office doing the work that keeps the trains running through Bihar. We see a lot of different people coming through the doors every single day. Some are happy, some are frustrated, and we just listen to all of them. It’s honest work for the people here.
