If you head down Jattal Road and find Ram Nagar, you will see where Aryavart Bio-Fertilizer & Agro Private Limited is based. We are c/o Dhara Dutt Paliwal, and this is where all the agro business gets handled. It is a bit of a dusty road, especially when the big trucks go past, but we have a good space here. Most of our days are spent talking to local growers who need help with their soil. The office isn't anything special, just a place to sit and talk about the fertilizer. Dhara Dutt Paliwal has been part of this for a long time, so people around Ram Nagar know the name well. We usually have sacks of product stacked up near the entrance depending on the season. When it rains, the road gets a bit muddy, but we still manage to get the work done. It is a local operation through and through. We don't use any fancy systems, just notebooks and a lot of face-to-face talk. Sometimes we sit on the porch and watch the traffic on Jattal Road while we drink chai. It is a practical way to run things. Aryavart is a big name for us, but the day-to-day is very quiet and focused on the dirt and the plants.
