M Plastic is based in Umarpur, which is part of the Ghorsala post office area in Raghunathganj. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t from the district, but it’s where we do all our work. Our facility is pretty straightforward. We deal with plastics every day, so there is always that specific smell of material in the air. The police station is the main point of reference for anyone trying to find our location. It’s a quiet area compared to the city, surrounded by a lot of open space. We don’t have a big corporate office or a staff in suits. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty. The rhythm of the day is dictated by the machines and the delivery schedules. Sometimes the rain in Raghunathganj can be quite heavy, making it hard for the trucks to get in and out, but we usually manage to stay on schedule. We started small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just make the products, check them over, and send them out to whoever ordered them. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We’re just local people running a local operation as best as we can every day. No one is trying to be a hero, we are just working.
