You can find Anil Jewellers over on the first floor of 60 A, Old Satta Galli. We’re located on Kavi Nirav Lane, right off Sheikh Memon Street in the heart of Zaveri Bazar. If you know the area, you know it’s the place to be for anything involving gold or jewelry in Mumbai. It’s incredibly crowded and the lanes are narrow, but that’s where all the action is. We’ve been in this spot in the New G.A.D. Colony area for years. Our shop is on the first floor, so you have to head up the stairs to see us. It’s a small, functional space where we keep our stock and do our business. We don't have a massive showroom with dozens of staff; it's a more personal, direct way of working. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to the bazaar for a long time. We spend our days tucked away from the main noise of the street, though you can still hear the hustle and bustle from outside the window. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We show the jewelry, talk about the prices, and get the job done. It’s a traditional way of doing business in one of the oldest markets in the city. We like the history of the place and being right in the center of the trade. It’s not fancy, but it is real, and that’s why we stay here. No big corporate talk, just simple work.
