Our place is at 303 Space Plaza on Plot E15 in Sector 9, Airoli. We’ve been in this part of Navi Mumbai for a bit now. Goldstar Jewellery Pvt Ltd is mostly about the craft and the business of making things look good. But if you saw the office, it’s mostly just people at their desks or working with tools. It’s a busy environment. There is always the sound of something being polished or the clinking of small metal pieces. We have to be very careful because the stuff we work with is quite expensive. The office in Space Plaza is pretty standard, nothing too fancy. We have some display cases, but most of the work happens in the back. Airoli is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the staff to get to from different parts of the city. We spend our days checking designs and making sure the stones are set right. It takes a lot of patience and your eyes can get tired after a few hours. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and pushy sales people. It’s more of a workshop vibe where we focus on the actual making of the jewelry. We have our tea breaks and talk about our families. It’s a small community here. We just try to do honest work and make sure every piece that leaves this office is done the right way.
