Yogeshkumar & Brothers

The shop is tucked away in Mangaldas Market, right there at Shop No 5 on the 7t 3rd Cross of Saibaba Nagar. It's a busy part of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road, always crowded and loud with people moving around. We’ve been here for a good while now, just me and my brothers running the place day in and day out. Every morning we roll up the shutter around the same time, sweep the front, and get things ready for whoever might walk in. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months when the air doesn't move much in the narrow lanes. We mostly just focus on getting the work done and making sure the stock is where it should be. Sometimes the neighbors from the other stalls come by for a quick tea, and we talk about the weather or how the traffic is getting worse on the main road. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop with shelves that have seen better days and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise if you turn it up too high. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that because there's always something else to do. Most of our days are spent checking lists and talking to the people who've been coming to this market for years. It’s just how things go here at Yogeshkumar & Brothers, staying busy and keeping at it until it's time to close up.
