Shree Krishna Sales

Our place is in the Mistry Building on Pawvala Street. If you know Grant Road, you know it's always crowded and noisy outside. We are at number 8. It's a small space, but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with sales here means you talk to all kinds of people every day. Some days the traffic outside is so loud we can hardly hear the phone when it rings. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything like that. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to bother with it right now. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming here for years. They know exactly where to find us in the building. We keep our records in big ledgers and on the old desk in the corner. It's a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. Grant Road has a certain energy that you don't find elsewhere in the city. It’s tight and cramped, but it feels like home to us. We just sell what people need and try to keep the prices fair for everyone. There isn't much to it beyond that. We aren't some big corporation with a board of directors. It's just us in the shop, trying to make a living and helping out the neighbors when they need a specific part or some supplies.
