We are situated in Grant Road, specifically at the Gurunanak Motor Market. Our address is F 4 in the A D Eakat Chawl, over in the Ashok Nagar area. This whole neighborhood is famous for vehicle parts and we are right in the middle of it. The chawl is an old building and the shop is quite narrow, but we use every inch of the wall space for storage. We carry various motor parts and accessories. It is often very crowded in the market, with people and motorbikes squeezing past each other in the lanes. We spend our days looking through catalogs or searching the back shelves for a specific part someone needs. The air always smells a bit like rubber and oil. We don't have fancy furniture, just a wooden counter that has seen better days and some stools for when friends drop by. Usually, we are drinking tea while we wait for the next customer to walk in with a broken part in their hand. It is a family-style setup even if we aren't all related. We have seen the market change over the years, but the way we do business stays pretty much the same. It is all about knowing the parts and knowing the people who come to Grant Road for help.
