We’ve been here at 207 Goregaon East for a long time now. If you know the area, we are right opposite Aarey Road. It gets pretty busy outside with all the traffic heading towards the colony. Our shop isn't huge but we have all our machines squeezed in. My father started things here and I just sort of took over when I got older. Most mornings I open up around ten and start checking the orders. The smell of ink is just part of the room now. Sometimes the power goes out but we manage. People stop by because they see the sign while waiting for the bus. We do a lot of paper work and printing for the local shops around here. It’s a lot of sitting and watching the machines run. The tea stall next door is where I spend most of my breaks. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just get the work done and go home. On rainy days, the water collects a bit near the entrance, so we have to keep an eye on that. Goregaon has changed a lot since we moved into this spot, but we are still here doing the same things every day. It’s just how it is. We know most of the people who walk past. It’s a decent place to work even if it gets a bit cramped when we have a big delivery of paper coming in from the trucks.
