Sudhir Art Printers

Sudhir Art Printers is located in the Deepak Building, number 98, on the ground floor in Dadar West. Being near Balmohan School means we see a lot of students and parents walking by every single day. The sound of the printing presses is something we have just grown used to over the years. It’s a constant rhythmic thumping that lets us know work is getting done. Our hands are usually stained with some kind of ink, and the smell of fresh paper is everywhere in the shop. We do a lot of different types of printing, from small cards to larger batches for local businesses. It isn't a clean, sterile environment because there are always scraps of paper on the floor and cans of ink sitting on the workbenches. We have a few old machines that we still use because they work just fine, along with some newer ones that take up a lot of space. The shop can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze. People come in with their designs or just a rough idea of what they want, and we see what we can do for them. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet all day. We don't have a receptionist or anything, just whoever is free will come to the front to see what you need. It’s been our way of doing things for a long time now.
