We are over at Shop No 306 in Saia House. It’s on B P Road, right near Nar Masjid. Most days it’s pretty busy around here with the traffic and people going to the mosque. We’ve got the printing machines running most of the time so there’s always that rhythmic thumping sound in the background. Manish Art Printers isn't a huge place, just a regular shop where we get the work done. Sometimes the ink smell gets a bit strong but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time checking proofs and making sure the paper cuts are straight. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit of a climb if you’re not used to it. The windows look out over the street and you can see the tea stall downstairs. We just keep things moving, handling whatever orders come in throughout the week. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the machines from jamming and getting things wrapped up for the people who stop by. Nothing fancy, just a workspace with a lot of paper stacks and ink cans sitting around on the benches. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. It gets hot in the afternoons but we keep the fans going. It’s just how it is working in this part of town, busy and loud but we get our things done.
