Yash Beauty Parlour

If you are walking around Borivali West, you might pass by Yash Beauty Parlour. It is just a small local shop tucked away from the main road. We don't have a huge staff or a list of fancy treatments. It is mostly me and one other girl doing haircuts, threading, and the occasional bridal makeup. The space is a bit tight, especially on Saturdays when everyone wants their hair done at the same time. We have two mirrors and some old magazines for people to read while they wait. The floor is usually covered in hair clippings by midday, so I am always reaching for the broom. It is a simple life here in Borivali. We know our customers by name and we know how they like their tea. There is no corporate manual here. We just do things the way we have always done them. Sometimes the hair dryer gets too hot and we have to give it a rest for a few minutes. The neighborhood is loud and busy, but inside the shop, it is just the sound of scissors and the radio playing some songs. We use basic products and keep our prices where local people can afford them. It is not about being the most famous place in town. It is just about providing a spot where the women nearby can come and get their grooming done without any fuss or expensive bills.
