Yadgar Punjab Restaurant

We are located at 189 Patthe Baburao Marg on Grant Road in Mumbai. If you know where Delhi Darbar is, we are right next to it. Being in Mumbai means everything is cramped and fast. Our place, Yadgar Punjab Restaurant, is no different. It’s a tight space but we make it work. Grant Road is one of those areas that never really sleeps. There is always the sound of taxis and people shouting outside. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The walls are covered with some old tiles and the lighting is just basic. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that, just some old ceiling fans that hum all day. It gets really sweaty in the afternoons, but people still come in. We focus on the food more than the decor. We don't have a fancy website or social media. Most of our customers are people who work in the local shops or are just passing through the station area. We keep our kitchen busy from lunch until late at night. It’s a lot of hard work and the hours are long. Sometimes we run out of certain items before the day is over, but that’s just life in a busy city. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a small Punjab-style spot in the middle of a very busy Mumbai street, trying to keep up with the crowd.
