You can find us at Plot No. 44, inside the Khanna Construction House over on Dr. R.G. Thadai Marg. Borosil Glass Works Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The building is easy to spot once you get onto the right street. Working with glass means we have to pay attention to details, and the workspace reflects that. It's not exactly quiet here, but it's a productive kind of noise. We have crates stacked up and people moving things around quite a bit. The location on Dr. R.G. Thadai Marg is convenient for deliveries, even if the traffic gets a bit heavy during the rush hour. We spend the day looking at glass items and making sure they are stored right so nothing breaks. It’s a lot of manual work, packing and unpacking boxes. The office part of the building is where the paperwork gets handled, but most of us are out where the actual glass is. It’s an old-school way of doing things, really. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what happens here. It’s just about getting the glass ready and making sure the counts are correct. Some of the staff have been here for years and they know every corner of Plot 44. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the shift is over. It’s a solid routine that seems to work for everyone involved. The building has been around for a while.
