We are over at Unit No 32 in Building A/2 at Renuka Kunj, right on Ms Lane in Lower Parel. If you know this area, you know how cramped and busy it gets with all the different workshops. Work Center Offset Printers India Pvt Ltd is basically just a group of us who spend our time around the smell of ink and the sound of those heavy machines running. It can get pretty loud when we have a big job going, and paper scraps end up everywhere no matter how much we sweep. We have been in this building for some time. Our space is filled with stacks of cardstock and half-finished piles that need cutting or binding. It’s not a quiet office job. We get our hands dirty every single day. Some mornings the machines act up or the power flickers, which is always a headache. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit waiting at the door. You usually just walk in and find someone near the presses. We handle the local stuff mostly, people coming in from around the lane needing things printed for their own businesses. We just focus on getting the colors right and making sure the edges are straight. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening when we finally shut the shutters and head home to get some rest before doing it all again.
