SEC Machines is located at No. 17/8, Reti Bunder. We are right in the Darukhana area, which is pretty much known for its industrial history. If you’re looking for us, we are directly opposite Bharati Shipyard Limited. It’s a very specific part of the city. The air smells like salt and metal most of the time because of the proximity to the water and the shipyards. It’s a gritty place to work, but it suits what we do here at SEC Machines. We don't have a polished showroom or a fancy reception area. Our space is filled with parts and tools and the smell of grease. It’s a honest day's work for everyone involved. The streets around Reti Bunder are often narrow and can get quite busy with heavy vehicles moving stuff around the shipyard area. You have to watch where you walk. We’ve been in Darukhana for a while, and we’ve seen the landscape change as the shipping industry evolves. Still, our little spot at 17/8 remains much the same. We open up early and stay until the work is finished. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life. We know the regulars who pass by and the tea stall nearby is where we usually spend our breaks. It’s a tight-knit community of workers and small business owners all just trying to make a living in this busy harbor district and keep the machines in good shape.
