M. Sarfaraj & Company is located at Shop No. 40, 1/1 Aa in Shastri Nagar, right in the Bail Bazar area. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the Baba Pan Patti, which is a big local landmark that everyone knows. The market here is always loud and full of energy, with trucks unloading and people shouting across the street. Our shop is a bit of a squeeze once you get all the stock inside, but we make it work. We’ve been in Bail Bazar for years, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. Most days are spent checking the inventory and dealing with the people who come in to buy things. We don’t have a corporate office or a board of directors; it’s just a family-run kind of thing where everyone chips in. The dust from the road gets in everywhere, so we’re always wiping down the counters. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks to get people in the door. They come because they know us and they know we’ve been here for a long time. Sometimes the traffic in Shastri Nagar makes it hard to get deliveries on time, but that’s just life in this part of town. We take things as they come and try to stay busy. It’s a hardworking environment, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
