K & R INTERNATIONAL

We are over here at K & R International, tucked away in Rawal Mansion. It’s on 2nd Hasnabad Lane in Santacruz West, which usually gets pretty busy by mid-morning. If you’ve ever walked down this part of the lane, you know how it is. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The stairs are a bit narrow, and sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but it’s home for us. Most days, we’re just sitting at the desks handling whatever comes through the door. It’s not a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. We have some old fans that hum a lot when it gets hot in the afternoon. Sometimes we get tea from the stall at the corner of the lane and just talk about the day's work. The mansion itself has seen better days, but the walls are thick and it stays relatively cool. We mostly keep to ourselves and try to get the orders sorted out before the sun goes down. There’s always a bit of a shuffle when new stuff arrives because space is tight. You learn to move around the stacks of paper and boxes without thinking about it. It’s just how we do things here. We don't really have a big sign outside, just the name on the door and the address that people sometimes struggle to find the first time they visit.
