You can find us on the first floor of the Podar Building. It is unit number 20 on Plot 34. The stairs can be a bit steep, so watch your step when you come up. We spend most of our time surrounded by wood shavings and the smell of sawdust. It’s a bit of a cramped space because we have a lot of equipment squeezed in, but Wood Carver Sys. Pvt. Ltd. has always operated this way. We don't really have a showroom. What you see is just where the work happens. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep up at the end of the day. We’ve had this spot for years and the locals know us pretty well. It is not a corporate setup where everyone wears suits. Usually, we are in our work clothes, covered in a bit of dust. We take the orders as they come and try to get them finished without too much fuss. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the wood is stubborn or a machine acts up. That is just part of the trade. We focus on the physical work. If the phone rings and we don't answer right away, it is probably because the saws are running too loud. We just do our best to keep the quality where it needs to be for the people who rely on us.
