Perfect Hardware is tucked away at 184 Sonapur Lane. If you are coming from Lbs Marg in Kurla West, it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because the traffic there is always something else. The shop is small and packed with all sorts of things from the floor to the ceiling. We’ve got drawers full of screws and nails that only we really know the location of. Most days it’s just us dealing with locals who need a specific pipe fitting or a tool for a quick fix at home. It gets dusty in here with all the metal and wood stuff around, and the fan overhead hums quite a bit. Kurla is a loud place, always something happening right outside the door. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai, just a place where you can find what you need without a fuss. Sometimes we don't have exactly what a customer wants right then, so we have to check the back or wait for the next delivery to arrive. Sonapur Lane is narrow, so if you’re coming with a big vehicle, you might have some trouble parking nearby. We usually just have our tea in the morning and wait for the first few people to walk in. It's a simple business, nothing more than that. We know most of the faces that come through here. It has been that way for a long time now and we're used to the noise.
