Akruti Kitchens & Furniture

Akruti Kitchens & Furniture is located at Matru Mandir, right on Tardeo Road. We are in units 9 and 10 on the ground level. If you know where Bhatia Hospital is, you basically know where to find us because we are directly opposite it. Tardeo is always a busy part of the city, so there is a lot of energy and noise right outside our door. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit cluttered with wood samples and different materials we use for our projects. We spend most of our time sketching out designs or talking to folks about what they need for their homes. It is not a shiny showroom like the ones you find in the big malls. It feels a lot more like a workshop because that is essentially what it is. We have got workbenches and tools, and there is usually some sawdust on the floor by the end of the day. The space at Matru Mandir has served us well as a base for a long time. We like being in this neighborhood because it is central and people can stop by while they are out doing their shopping. The lighting is a bit dim and the floor has some scratches, but we don't mind. We just focus on making things that fit right. It is a small team, so everyone helps out with everything, from moving heavy boards to answering the telephone.
