About Wockhardt Hospitals – Medical & Healthcare in Mumbai
Mumbai Central is always moving. Working at Wockhardt Hospitals right here means you're in the thick of it. The traffic outside is something you just learn to ignore after a week. It’s constant. We see people from every walk of life coming through those doors. Some look lost, some know exactly where they’re going. The lobby is usually full of people sitting on the benches, waiting for news or an appointment. We try to keep things orderly, but it’s a hospital, so things happen. It’s not a fancy office job. We wear scrubs or uniforms and stay on our feet. The elevators are always busy, so I usually take the stairs if it’s only a couple of floors. It keeps you moving. The walls are a plain color, nothing too exciting. We have a cafeteria, but most of us bring lunch from home and eat quickly when there’s a gap. You get to know the regulars, the people who are here for long-term stuff. You say hello, ask how they’re doing. It’s simple things like that. The night shifts are different; it’s much quieter then, and the lights feel brighter. It’s a strange place to spend your life, but it feels useful. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just helping people get through their day. It’s a practical way to earn a living in a city that never stops. Things are alright here.
