We are located right on the Sir J.J Hospital Campus in Mumbai. Specifically, you’ll find us in Flat No. 4 of the Panchshil Building, where Dr. Aftab Shaikh and the rest of the group handle their daily tasks. Being based inside a hospital campus means things are always moving and it’s rarely quiet. There are always people around, whether it’s students, doctors, or patients. It’s a very old and respected campus, so there is a lot of history in these buildings. Our office is a bit cramped sometimes because we have a lot of files and equipment, but it works for what we need to do. Living and working in the same general area in Mumbai saves us from the terrible traffic, which is a big plus. We spend our days coordinating medical schedules and making sure the hospital functions are supported from our end. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary for the whole JJ Group of Hospital system to keep running. The building itself is a typical Mumbai structure, showing its age a bit but still standing strong. We don't have a lot of time for formalities because there is always a medical situation or a report that needs attention right away. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the workload. It’s a busy life here in the middle of Mumbai’s medical world.
