Wockhardt Hospitals

We are over on Dr Anand Rao Nair Road, right near the Agripada Police Station in Mumbai Central. It’s a busy part of the city, that’s for sure. The hospital is known as the New Age one, but it’s still just a place where we work every day. You can hear the trains from the station if you listen closely. There’s always a crowd outside, people selling fruit or just waiting for the bus. The address is 1877, which is a big number to remember. It’s a tall building. From the upper floors, you can see quite a bit of the neighborhood. We spend most of our time inside, though. It’s a lot of walking. My shoes usually wear out pretty fast. We don’t have much time for sitting around. There’s always someone needing something, a form to be signed or a room to be prepped. It’s not like what you see on TV. It’s mostly just quiet conversations and the sound of trolleys moving. The air inside is always still. We have a routine that keeps things from getting too chaotic. It’s a big responsibility, I guess, but we don't think about it like that. We just think about getting through the shift. The tea near the police station is actually pretty good if you get a chance to step out. It’s just a normal job in a loud part of town. We stay busy.
