Wockhardt Hospitals

Bandra Kurla Complex is a weird place sometimes. Everything is so big and modern. Wockhardt Hospitals is right in the middle of all that glass and steel in Bandra East. It feels different from the rest of Mumbai. The roads are wider, and there’s always construction somewhere. Working here, you see the corporate crowd rushing around during lunch. But inside the hospital, it’s a whole different world. We’re focused on the rooms and the people staying with us. It’s a lot of white walls and the smell of cleaning stuff. It’s not a place you’d go for fun, obviously. But we try to make it as normal as possible. The air conditioning is always humming. Sometimes it gets a bit too cold, so we tell people to bring a sweater. There’s a lot of paperwork to deal with, and the phones never seem to stop ringing. We get people from all over because Bandra is so central. You spend your day walking the halls, checking on things. The view out the windows is just more buildings and cars. It can feel a bit repetitive, but the people we work with are good. We know each other’s families and what’s going on at home. It’s a community inside a big business hub. We just do our jobs and go home like everyone else. It’s a long day, but it feels okay. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't.
