I’ve been coming to Dr Anand Rao Nair Road for a long time now. Working at Wockhardt Hospital Ltd means you get used to the sounds of Agripada. The police station is right there, so you hear sirens sometimes, but mostly it's just the usual city noise. People are always rushing past, trying to get somewhere. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the heat starts picking up. Opposite us, there's always something happening. You see the same faces every day, the tea stalls nearby getting busy around ten. The building itself is just part of the landscape here. Inside, it's pretty quiet compared to the street. We keep things moving, making sure the floors are clean and people find their way to the right departments. Sometimes the elevator takes a bit longer than you’d like. But that's just how it is. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. New shops open up, others close. But the hospital stays the same, sitting here near the station. It’s not fancy, just a place where work gets done. Most of us live a fair distance away, so the commute is a big part of the day. You learn to appreciate the small gaps of quiet when you can find them. It's a lot of walking back and forth through the corridors. The light comes through the windows in a certain way in the afternoon. It's a decent place to be if you like staying busy.
