Our spot for Wipro Ltd. is in B 201 of the Palak Pluto CHS 5. This is over in the IC Colony Extension in Kandarpada, which is part of Dahisar West in Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy the 400068 area can get. Our office is inside a residential society, which gives it a much more relaxed feeling than being in a big commercial tower downtown. We have a small team here, and the atmosphere is pretty quiet most of the time. The walk from the station can be a bit long when it’s raining, so we all have our umbrellas ready. Inside the office, it’s just the basic stuff—tables, chairs, and our computers. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and we’re all right there. The building is one of those typical Mumbai societies where everyone knows everyone. We try to keep things organized, though the piles of paper sometimes grow faster than we can file them. There’s usually someone making tea in the afternoon. It’s an honest, simple way to work. We don't have any of those modern bean bags or game rooms. We just have our work and a window that looks out over the neighborhood. It’s a good enough place to get through the work week without too much stress or noise from the main roads.
