Hosting Net Design

Hosting Net Design operates out of Kandivali East C 204. It’s basically a converted space that we’ve made our own over the last few years. There isn't a whole lot of room for walking around, but we manage. Most of our work happens on the servers or through emails, so we don’t need a massive storefront. The building has its quirks, like the elevator that takes forever to arrive. We spend a lot of time monitoring connections and making sure everything stays online. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting followed by bursts of frantic typing when something goes sideways. We have a small pantry that’s mostly just a microwave and a kettle. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we get things done. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, which gives the place a bit of a weird vibe after hours. We’ve got stacks of paper that we really should file away somewhere, but they just stay on the corner of the big table. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too terrible compared to others. We don't do big meetings or long presentations. We just talk across the room when something needs to be discussed. It's a straightforward way to run things without all the extra layers. We keep a stash of biscuits for the late nights when the workload piles up.
