Whitewood Imports Private Limited

We’re located over in Kandivali West, specifically in Charkop at the I Nurgun society. Mumbai is a busy place, and this area is no different. Whitewood Imports is run from our office on Road 37. It’s a practical space where we handle all our import business. We don't have anything fancy like a big boardroom. It’s just a few desks and a lot of cabinets for all the files we have to keep. Being in Kandivali means we are close to a lot of other businesses, which is handy. Most days involve us sitting through traffic to get here and then spending the day on the phone or computer. We deal with various goods coming into the country. It’s a lot of checking regulations and making sure the taxes are sorted out correctly. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re a small group that knows each other well. We keep things simple and don’t bother with the corporate talk. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when a lot of samples arrive, but we manage. The building is older, but it works for what we need. We’ve built up some good relationships with local transporters over the years. It’s not always easy work, especially when there are delays at the port, but we just keep at it until the job is done. Charkop is a good community to be a part of for a small business like ours.
