Wellingtone Hair Cutting Saloon

Wellingtone Hair Cutting Saloon has been sitting here on Wellingtone Street for a long time. Our shop number is 22A, right in the Dhobi Talao area. If you know where Delhi Darbar is, we are quite near that spot. Mumbai is a crowded place, especially around here, but the shop is a bit of a quiet corner. I took over after my father. The walls have some old photos and the mirrors have seen a lot of faces over the years. It’s a simple hair cutting place. We don't do all those fancy treatments you see in the big magazines. Just a wash, a cut, and maybe a shave if that's what you need. Being near Delhi Darbar means we get a lot of people passing through, not just the locals. The chairs are the heavy kind from back in the day. They still work fine and they have some character. Dhobi Talao is a busy neighborhood but everyone knows where 22A is. I try to keep the tools sharp and the floor swept. It's just a regular business. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they need to look a bit tidier. It’s a living and I enjoy the daily routine of it. We see all kinds of people here on Wellingtone Street and everyone gets treated the same way when they sit down for a cut.
