Wax India is located in Byculla, right near the Byculla Police Station. It’s a very old part of the city and we’ve been around for a good while. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we have everything we need to process the wax. It’s a bit of a messy business, to be honest. There are blocks of wax piled up and big pots where we melt it down. The heat from the burners makes the room quite warm, so we keep the windows open even when it’s noisy outside. We don’t have a big sign or any fancy decorations. Most of the people who come to see us are regular customers who have been buying from us for years. They know exactly where we are, right by the station. We spend our days filling orders and checking the quality of the raw materials that come in. It’s simple work, but it requires some patience. You can’t rush wax. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just answer the phone and talk to whoever walks in through the door. The floor is stained and the walls could use a coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up.
