Walter Spa N Saloon

Walter Spa N Saloon is tucked away at Shop No 6 in the Sitaram Chawl, right along the Goregaon Mulund Link Road in Mulund West. If you’re familiar with Mumbai traffic, you know how loud and busy that road gets. Our shop is just across from the Runwa area, which makes it easy to find even when the street is jammed with cars. Inside, it’s a different world from the chaos outside. We keep it as quiet as we can, though you can still hear the distant honking now and then. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve arranged the chairs and the equipment to make the most of it. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure everything is ready for the next person who walks through the door. The air conditioner is usually running full blast because of the Mumbai heat, which people seem to appreciate. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and keeping busy with various haircuts or other things people need. We don't really do anything fancy with the decor; it’s mostly just practical stuff that we’ve gathered over time. Sometimes the water pressure acts up or a light bulb flickers, but we just fix it and move on. It’s a neighborhood spot where people stop by after work or on their day off. We’ve been at this address for a good while and know the regulars by name.
