It’s a busy industrial spot, so you’ll see a lot of workers and delivery trucks around. The shop is small and simple. We have a couple of old-fashioned barber chairs and plenty of mirrors. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a wooden bench where you can sit and read the newspaper. We’ve been cutting hair here for a long time. Most of our customers are people who work in the surrounding factories or live in the nearby chawls. We don't do anything complicated like chemical treatments or fancy styling. It’s mostly just standard haircuts and shaves. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps the air moving. We talk a lot about cricket or whatever is happening in the news while we work. It’s a friendly place where everyone is welcome. We don't take appointments over the phone; you just walk in and wait for your turn. It’s a traditional way of doing things. We take pride in a clean cut and a steady hand. It’s a small business, but it’s ours, and it’s been a good home for the business.
