W B Engineers operates out of 10 Rey Road, specifically inside Vasan Udyog Bhuvan in the Vastrapur area. It’s a decent spot, though the commute can be a bit of a pain depending on which side of the city you’re coming from. The building itself, Vasan Udyog Bhuvan, is pretty standard for an industrial space. It has that worn-in feeling that tells you a lot of work has happened here over the years. We spend most of our time inside the unit, surrounded by the usual clutter of an engineering firm. There are blueprints on the desk and metal scraps in the bins. It’s not the quietest place to work because you have the sounds of the city and the other units in the building all mixing together. We usually get in early to beat the heat, especially during the summer months when the sun really hits the walls of the block. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is handled properly. Sometimes we have to move things around just to find a bit of extra space to work on a larger part. It’s a bit tight, but we make it work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just want to make sure the jobs get done correctly before the weekend rolls around.
