Mercury Engineering

Mercury Engineering is tucked away in the Mungekar Industrial Estate, specifically at 5/19. We are just off Aarey Road in Goregaon East, which means the traffic is usually a bit of a nightmare. Our workshop is in a line of similar small industrial units. It’s a noisy place with the sound of machines running most of the day. We are a small crew and we all get our hands dirty. There isn't a fancy front office here; you just walk right into the middle of the work. We’ve been in this estate for quite a while and we know most of the other guys working in the nearby units. We do various engineering jobs, mostly custom parts and repairs. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job, especially when a machine breaks down. We don't spend any time on social media or advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have been using us for years. The shop floor is covered in metal shavings and there’s always a smell of oil in the air. We have a small corner where we keep our tools and a stove for making tea. It’s hard work and it’s often very hot, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on the measurements and making sure everything fits together the way it should for the clients who come by the estate.
