Vyahad Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is over in Vyahad, which is a quiet spot in the Chandrapur district. We operate out of Sadu Dina Bhoyar’s place. We are a bunch of local farmers who decided to form Vyahad Farmers Producer Company Limited. The reason was simple enough. Doing things alone as a farmer is hard. You have to worry about everything from the seeds to the trucks. By coming together, we can share the load a bit. We are just regular people from the village. Our hands are usually dirty from the soil. Chandrapur gets really hot, so we have to work around the weather. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to our neighbors and work the land. We handle things like sorting our produce and figuring out the best time to sell. It’s a lot of practical thinking. We might not have the best grammar or a polished look, but we know our crops. Vyahad is our home and we care about how things are done here. If you need to find us, just ask for Sadu’s place in the village. We are usually around during the day. We don’t use big slogans. We just want to get through the season and make enough to keep going next year. It's the same story for most of us here in Maharashtra. Just plain, honest farming. It is a long day every day, but we don't mind the work much.
