Jagadamba Traders

Jagadamba Traders is tucked away in Colaba, at Po 13-15. If you know the area, you know it’s got a lot of character and history. Our office is in one of those older buildings where the walls are thick and the windows are big. We’ve been trading from here for years, dealing with all sorts of goods that come through. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves and boxes stacked up. We don't have a modern setup; it's mostly old wooden desks and ledgers, though we do use computers for the main stuff now. The vibe is very traditional. We know most of the other traders nearby, and we often stop to chat on the sidewalk. Being in Colaba means we get all kinds of people walking by, but we mostly just focus on our regular clients. The office can get a bit dusty with all the paper moving around, but we try to keep it somewhat tidy. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows and wait for it to come back. We don't have any slogans or big promises. We just buy things, sell things, and try to make a living like everyone else. It’s a busy life, but it suits us well. The location is the best part, even if the rent is a bit high these days and the traffic is bad.
