Brajpuriya Traders

Brajpuriya Traders is based on Old Madras Road in the Grant Road area. We aren't a retail shop where you come to browse shelves. It is more of a trading office and a small warehouse space. We deal with various goods and spend most of our time on the phone or handling paperwork. The office is tucked away in an old building, and the stairs are quite steep and narrow. Inside, there are stacks of boxes everywhere, mostly filled with items we are moving to other parts of the city. Grant Road is a very congested area, so getting trucks in and out of Old Madras Road is a daily headache for us. My desk is covered in old invoices and a few half-empty tea cups. The ceiling fan is quite old and makes a clicking sound on its highest setting. We have a small crew of three people who handle everything from the loading to the accounts. It is dusty and the walls could definitely use some new paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. Most of our clients have been working with us for years, so they know exactly where to find us. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small board near the entrance. It is a practical business run by people who have been in the trade for a long time. We just get the work done.
